Technically speaking, what has changed?
The model has been equipped with a new, innovative extruder, which is more efficient compared to the previous version and guarantees uninterrupted filament flow during printing. The very process of creating elements has been accelerated - without any quality loss - thanks to the installation of two fans and channels directed exactly at the flowing material. The new head significantly facilitates printing from two materials due to no need of levelling of two heads (nozzles) relative to each other - the two heads are connected together in one subassembly.
An aspect that undoubtedly improves the comfort of using the printer is the installation of a carbon filter in it, which aims to reduce the intensity of unpleasant odours arising when printing from filaments such as ABS. In addition, the option of installing an external electric fan with air extraction outside the room has been introduced, which will be especially useful for small design offices.
Remote device control
Besides the typically technical changes that directly affect the quality and speed of printing, the 3D Signal Pro 3D printer has also been refined for user's convenience at work. By using the LAN port and special software, the user has the option of a wireless network connection of the printer with the application installed on the computer and telephone. This functionality allows you to remotely control the printer and preview the printing process.
The device is also equipped with a larger screen with a diagonal of 10.1 inches, which makes using the device through an internal application more convenient. What is more, the 3D printer has a wide-angle camera that allows you to preview the printing process in a real-time, and this gives you the opportunity to check if it is running correctly. An additional change is the installation of RGB LED lighting in Signal Pro, which informs about the current status of the printer.
The Signal Pro series has also been equipped with 12 GB internal memory. Thanks to this, the machine operator has the option of uploading projects from a USB device or sending them via LAN from the application level to the device. This procedure avoids the problem of external storage disconnecting with the printer during operation and allows models that are often duplicated to be permanently stored directly in memory.
The design of the device has been optimized for printing spools up to 2.5 kg. This solution allows printing large details without the need to change the filament, and thus, reduces the need for interference in the printing process.
In conclusion...
Precision and high quality of printed objects are very important, but a relevant aspect in relation to working with the device is also the intuitive handling and the remote control of the 3D printer.
